Effective date: 28 September 2026
Operator: Austin Robotics, Austin, Texas, United States
Site: https://austinrobotics.io
This notice covers the Texas company directory, the featured-company series, and the names, logos, descriptions, addresses, and links on those pages. It also covers anything those pages say about customers, hiring, partnerships, or funding.
Austin Robotics is a public community for robotics, physical AI, and hardware in Texas. We highlight companies and founders so people can find them. We are not those companies.
No affiliation, endorsement, or agency
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, partners of, or agents for the companies named on this site, except where a page expressly identifies a company as a sponsor or advertiser. A listing, a map pin, a logo, or a feature is not an endorsement, a ranking, a certification, a partnership, a joint venture, or a franchise. Words such as "featured" do not mean we investigated the company or that we recommend you do business with it.
Company names, logos, and product names belong to their owners. We use them so you can tell which company we mean. That use does not mean the company sponsors Austin Robotics or has approved the text.
Nothing on this site makes Austin Robotics an agent, broker, finder, or representative of a listed company, of a reader, or of an investor. A reader and a listed company may not hold Austin Robotics out as speaking for the other.
No investment, financial, or securities advice
We do not give investment, financial, tax, or securities advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, funding portal, or venture fund.
A directory entry or a feature is not an offer to sell a security, a solicitation to buy a security, or a recommendation to invest, lend, grant, or buy a company. When a feature says a founder is looking for customers, design partners, angel investors, or other funding, that is the founder's request, reported as community news. It is not an offer from Austin Robotics, and it is not our recommendation. Do not treat it as either one.
We are not paid to introduce a reader to a company. We do not take a commission, a success fee, or a placement fee for funding, hiring, or customers. If that changes, the page will say so before the change.
Do your own due diligence, and speak with your own legal, tax, and financial advisers, before you invest or sign anything. Claims about traction, product readiness, and fundraising change. We do not audit them.
No other professional advice
What we publish is general information for a community audience. It is not legal advice, engineering advice, safety advice, export-control advice, or employment advice, and it is not advice about your situation. Reading the site, emailing us, or coming to a meetup does not create an attorney-client relationship, a fiduciary duty, or any other professional engagement.
Accuracy, and your own due diligence
We build listings from public sources, company websites, and people who ask to be included. A listing can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. We do not audit finances, ownership, intellectual property, licenses, insurance, product safety, export classification, or regulatory standing.
Before you invest in, buy from, hire, partner with, or otherwise rely on a company named here, verify the facts with the company and with your own advisers. That check is yours. It includes whether the company exists, who owns it, the terms of any contract or security, whether a product does what the company says, and whether a defense or dual-use product is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations. A listing is not a government endorsement and not an export authorization.
If you are a founder or an employee and a listing is wrong, email
. We will correct or remove a listing when we can confirm the request. We do not undertake to watch every company continuously.
Trademarks and other sites
A link to a company site, a job application, Substack, Meetup, Discord, or any other site leaves austinrobotics.io. Those sites set their own terms. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, their security, or their offers.
Sponsors and paid placements
Some companies sponsor Austin Robotics events or this community under a separate arrangement. We say so where that is true. Event sponsorship does not extend to the directory or to a feature unless that page says so. Unless a page expressly identifies a company as a sponsor, advertiser, or paid placement, the listing or feature is unpaid editorial.
Jobs
A role mentioned on this site belongs to the employer who posted it. Applying on that employer's site does not make Austin Robotics your employer, a staffing agency, or a party to the hire.
Products and events
A feature is not a test report. It is not a statement that a robot, vehicle, weapon system, or any other product is safe, lawful, or fit for a purpose. Meetups and demos are governed by the venue's rules and by any waiver presented for that event. This page does not replace those rules or that waiver.
Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent Texas law allows, Austin Robotics and its organizers, volunteers, and contributors are not liable for a decision to invest in, contract with, hire, buy from, or otherwise deal with a company named on this site, or for that company's acts or omissions. We are not liable for an error or omission in a listing or a feature, or for a loss that follows from relying on one.
We remain responsible for our own fraud, gross negligence, and intentional misconduct, and for any liability Texas law does not allow us to limit. This page is a notice. It is not a signed waiver of rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act.
Changes and governing law
We may update this page. The effective date above is the date of the current text. The laws of the State of Texas govern this notice, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We locate disputes about this site in the state or federal courts sitting in Travis County, Texas.
