This policy describes how austinrobotics.io handles information. Austin Robotics is a public community for robotics, physical AI, and hardware in Texas. We run a static website, a company directory, curated jobs and news lists, and event pages. We do not run user accounts, a checkout, or a first-party comment system on this site.

## What this site collects

**Information you send us.** If you email contact@austinrobotics.io, we receive whatever you include (name, email address, company, and the body of the message). We use that to reply and to maintain listings or events when that is why you wrote.

**Information published on the site.** Company names, websites, Texas streets we have verified, job titles, and news headlines are public by design. We curate them from public sources and from people who ask to be listed. If you want a listing changed or removed, email us.

**Server and security logs.** The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare and our origin may see IP address, user-agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamps as part of delivering pages and blocking abuse. We do not use that log data to build marketing profiles.

**Fonts.** Some pages load Archivo and IBM Plex Mono from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and browser details when those files are requested. See Google's own documentation for that request.

## Cookies and analytics

This site does not set a first-party advertising cookie and does not embed a first-party analytics tag. Cloudflare, as the host and CDN, may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security or performance. Third-party pages we link to (Meetup, Discord, Substack, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Luma, CustomInk, employer career sites) have their own cookies and policies; leaving austinrobotics.io is leaving this policy.

## What we do not do

- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run account sign-in on austinrobotics.io.
- We do not collect payment card data on this site.
- We do not use the public directory or jobs board as a hidden email-harvesting product. Those pages exist so people and agents can find Texas robotics companies and roles.

`robots.txt` on this origin allows search and reference use and opts out of training via Content-Signal (`ai-train=no`). That is a crawler preference, not a promise that every downstream model will honor it.

## Directory, jobs, and news data

Listings are editorial, not a consumer credit file. Company streets appear only when we have a published Texas address we are willing to pin. Job applications are completed on the employer's ATS, not on austinrobotics.io. If you are a founder or employee and a listing is wrong, email contact@austinrobotics.io with the correction.

## How long we keep email

We keep correspondence as long as it is needed to finish the request and keep a working record of the community (for example, a directory correction). You can ask us to delete an email thread that is about you; we will do that unless we must keep a narrow record of a published correction.

## Your choices

Email contact@austinrobotics.io to:

- correct or remove a directory listing that identifies you or your company
- ask what information we hold from an email you sent
- object to a news item we published that is about you (we will review; public reporting is not always removed)

This site is intended for professionals and students in robotics and related fields. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Changes

We will update this page when the practices change. The effective date at the top is the date of the current text.
